What are fine art school portraits?
Our Goal is to provide you with a professional, yet personal school photo day that produces timeless photos that your parents will be proud to display.
We're here to support you every step of the way, from providing clear email instructions for families to offering a convenient online ordering platform for easy access to the final images. We also take a little extra time to connect with your students and capture genuine expressions that truly reflect their personalities.
With our custom approach, we're confident that you, your students, and their families will have an amazing school photo experience.

Will you capture our students smiling?
Although a smile is precious, we truly aim to capture your students as they are. Natural expressions that are seen at home can be the most beautiful and memorable. We never force a smile, but if we capture a smile or laugh it’s sure to be a natural one.
what background will you use?
We use a plain, non-distracting background (black or dark grey). This allows you to focus on your student’s face/personality and not the color or pattern in the background of many traditional school photos.
what is the cost of this service?
There is no up front cost to the school. All portrait print and digital prices are reasonable, competitive rates. You can click HERE to view sample pricing. *These rates are subject to change.
what kind of light will you use?
All portraits are taken with natural light. We will come to your school before your portrait day and find the best location for the sessions. Natural light is beautiful and not distracting for those sensitive to bright light or flash.
when can we schedule a school portrait day?
These sessions can be scheduled at your convenience. We work individually with each school to determine the best time for your Fine Art School Portrait Day.
How long will you spend with each student?
We typically spend 1-2 min with a student. Less if they give a variety of facial expressions within the first 30 seconds.
Black & White
Because we are a boutique photography studio we spend extra care when presenting images to your families. Each student will receive a minimum of 5 images in their viewing gallery shown in both color and black and white.
This is an upgrade that families love and adds to the Fine Art feel of your school portrait day.
